The Nokia 6260 offers mobile professionals the latest mobile technology features and applications, including push to talk with dedicated side key, document and presentation viewing (Quickword and Quickpoint), email and a VGA camera in a fold design. Based on Symbian OS 7.0s and the Series 60 2.1 platform, the 6260 opens to talk, folds and faces out for web browsing, twists to activate the camera and closes flat for standby. Additionally, the Nokia 6260 features a mobile VPN client, enabling mobile workers to access a corporate network and business email. It is expected to start shipping in Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and Americas in third quarter, 2004.

The 6260 weighs 130 g and measures 102 x 49 x 23 mm. It supports Nokia's Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard enhancement. Users will enjoy its stereo sound, FM radio and MP3 player as well as side-mounted camera with movable display (open, closed, facing inwards, facing outwards - display rotates to fit screen orientation).

6 MB built-in phone memory can be further expanded using hot-swappable MMC cards (32 MB card with Try and Buy software comes with the phone). Connectivity options include Infrared, USB (PopPort) and Bluetooth. GPRS class 6 provides data transmission with speed up to 43,2 kbps.
