			<title>How to retrieve the pictures from the memory card (1 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39892</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hi Guys,

I have got Nokia 3530 phone and I had stored some pictures on my memory card which by mistakengly I deleted it. Now is there any way I could retrieve it. I know there must be some way that many of the mobile software engineers must be knowing. Please if you could help me out. Bcoz after that I just removed the memory card from the phone and kept with me safely so that I do not save anything else. So I know in the computer there is process if we delete anything then we can retrieve from that sector of hard disc. In the same way there may be some software or anything through which we can retrieve the pictures which should be saved in any of the sector of the memory card....

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hi guys. Any help. My son's Nokia N70 is not working properly. When it comes up it shows a white screen. I suspected that it was a memory problem. So we placed the memory card into another N70 and deleted most of the stuff. But to no avail. I can connect the phone through cable on PC Suite. But not much on the phone anymore. I tried the hard format suggestion. Keeping the buttons in. But still no solution. Can anyone help? Thanks, Jac...

			<title>Turning the Ngage Classic or QD into a Bluetooth Gamepad (0 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39620</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hello all,

I was wondering if there is any application that could turn our ngage classic / ngage qd into a bluetooth joystick.

Since the phone itself IS basically a gamepad (and a pretty good one with lots of buttons!), it would be great to be able to use it on our computers and specially with other cellphones (tv-out anyone?). BT gamepads are expensive and in some places (like my country) they are hard to come by, so it would be a great solution for us all - even for those who do not own one, since used ngages are cheap nowadays.

If such software does not exist already, how doable would be such a project? Would it be possible? Would it be too hard to develop it (maybe in python, I don't know)...?

Unfortunately I am no programmer, so if the program doesn't exist already and one of you guys decide to go ahead and make one, you have my blessings ;)

Also, if no one demonstrates interest in developing it, suppose I start learning myself python in my spare time... Would it ...

			<title>Nokia 6260 issue (3 replies)</title>
			<link>http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39223</link>
			<description>

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hello,

Dumb question: my 6260 is my spare phone, and I lend it to my dad once. He claimed he hasn't dropped it or so, but ever since the battery is pushed outward.
It is still possible to close the battery compartment, but the cover is bending due to it. By itself, this isn't a huge problem, but as a result the phone randomly states that the cover is opened and asks if the memory card will be removed. This pop-up is annoying...

I see no reason as to why the battery pushes outward (any suggestions on what to look out for?)...

I know snapping of that small tab will cause that detection to stop, but what other effects would it have?
Any other ways of solving it?

Thanks!...

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hi

I have a 2GB RS-MMC memory card which works great on my PC and Pocket PC but does not work at all in my Nokia 6680. The card does say it is dual voltage so I would expect it to work. Is there a limit on how big cards can be for the 6680?

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hi

I read on the internet that the latest version of firmware for the Nokia 6680 is v5.04.07. Can anybody confirm this? Am I right in thinking that I can upgrade the firmware using Nokia PC Suite? Will PC Suite take a backup before the upgrade or do I have to do this manually? Can I then restore this backup after upgrading the firmware?

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi

The nokia 6680 has a very useful app called Transfer which can be used to transfer data from another S20.2 phone.

Whenever I start this app on my second-hand 6680, it wants to copy data from another phone already setup as the source. How do I reset the app so that I can setup a new data source? I do not want to hard-reset my phone as I already have some apps installed?

My friend has a Nokia 6680 which sometimes refuses to dial numbers from the contact list or call log. Nothing happens when he presses the dial key or chooses the Call -? Audio Call option from the menu. The problem can be solved by switching the phone off and on again. Any ideas why this might be? Is it worth reflashing his phone?

<u>Quote from the first post:</u> Hi

I hope one of you can enlighten me here.

When I look at my phone with a file manager, I can see four drives called C:, D:, E: and Z: respectively. From my Psion days, I know that Z: is the ROM. E: is the memory card (this used to be D: on the Psion). On the Psion, C: was the RAM where files were stored and programs executed. I immagine that on the phone C: is the internal flash memory where files are stored. D: is labelled as RAM and is only about 1.8 megabytes in size. Is that where programs are executed? Does it act as a temporary store for things looaded from C: (some sort of cache you might say)?
