Well, 3rd Edition Web has always been a huge RAM hog - IMHO Nokia should have put twice as much RAM in the Eseries, as business devices.....

Sorry, no Wi-Fi here at home, I'll try it over the weekend when near a hot-spot.

I updated firmware succesfully but had some problems restroring all the apps. I have installed all my apps to memory card and when starting up the phone it tries to install something. I don't know what it tries to install but I tried to remove all the apps and install them again but unfortunately I couldn't to do that. No I have application a000cab.sis in my applications directory. I can't install that app and I can't delete it. Any suggestions? And please don't say that try safe start-up with pencil key - it doesn't work at all in my E70.

Hello Jim Knock,
I had the same problem, I even wasn't able to format the memory card.
The way I fixed this is the go to memory and backup the phone in the memory card, then format the memory card.
I hope this helps.

Well I got bored of my E61 so got an E70 instead, not as bulky, and the camera comes in handy. As soon as I got it out the box I installed the new firmware which went smoothly, got all my apps installed, and happy with the new phone.
Thanks to all on the forum for you tips etc.

Arabian, Thanx for your tip thou I didn't undestand it! So I should back-up my phone to memory card and then get rid of that back-up by formatting the card. Could you please explain in which way I should do it?
Greetings,
Jim

Jim,
Yes, just go to the memory and choose backup phone in the memory, when this is done, just format the memory card, then you'll have fresh memory and your E70 will not tell you it installs files in the next phone start

Ok. I had to format the phone and memory card to get the phone working almost normally. After the firmware update I have call divert symbol in my screen evry time I turn my phone on! I can get rid of that by typing *#21* (check divert) Strange thing that I never had before new firmware!

Hello Jim,
This annoys me too.
Is there an option to turn off check divert notice? I can't use *#21*
I don't want to switch off diverts, I just want to get rid of the notification

| Is pumping up the equaliser all the way up an option to boost the volume to more reasonable levels? I used to use 80-100% while cycling...

Great list! Too bad my phone (0526639 - included above) does not want to be updated... NSU says no updates available for my phone

NSU does have this issue for many users.
Try to install it in another pc, and don't enable your firewall while you are doing it.
