In my eyes, this software sux! Here's why:

- Installed it
- retrieved the serial-number
- typed it in
- serial-number didn't work!

Uninstalled the app and am never going to try it again!

What's up with software designers theese days ?
This software, WayFinder and others ?
Why is it so hard to make the trial versions that work ?

Trials should work with no registration required.
If I can't test a product, I'm not going to buy it.

I did trial registration just from installation of prog and it works fine for me. It takes about 5 seconds.

C:\document\SmartComGPS\maps\
or
D:\document\SmartComGPS\maps\

Maps must be in *.ogf2 format with *.map calibration.

For convert jpg to ogf2 use ogf2tool (it is with SmartComNavigator in archive) and for creating *.map file is good OziExplorer for Win.

2 mi2ke: What of map area are you interesting in? I will try to send you example.

or try it yourself

Map format for SmartCom Navigator must be *.ogf2
OziExplorer works with *.ozf2

Other file types are same (.plt, .wpt, .map, .names)

If you downloaded .ozf2 with .map calibration file, you must:

1. open this Map in OziExplorer and in menu File->Save Map to Image File->Color Image save it as .bmp image with same name as .map
2.This .bmp open in Ogf2tool.exe and Create Ogf2 files.
3.Maps must be stored at mobile in *.ogf2 format with *.map calibration in
C:\document\SmartComGPS\maps\
or
D:\document\SmartComGPS\maps\

I hope my terrible english is clear.

It was mentioned on the SCGPS forum that the program is free for regustered owners of a previous version.
How does it work? Where shall we apply for a new license? The old one is of course not working on the new phone. Confused
