Man thats a quite a bit of a process until you get it signed. but after that it seems that the app should be really stable.

Maybe SE should start to symbian sign their own firmware and applications, then we would live in a better world!

PS: if you run the program on Vista, make sure you run it as Administrator and on XP SP2 mode (change the properties compatibility) or else the tool will fail to create the necessary cert file...

This is an early test copy of SMan for UIQ3. Attached is an unsigned copy of the SMan program. Please get it signed before you try to install it into your phone. This version does not have an "band-aid" code in it, so if you do not have the latest firmware installed on your smartphone, SMan will not work properly.

Please remember the following:

1. I will not help you sign the .sis file;
2. I will not tell you how to sign a .sis file;
3. I will not tell you how to get a developer cert to sign a .sis file;
4. I will not discuss topics related to 1-3 in this thread;
5. Please discuss only bugs that you find with SMan in this thread.

The final build for the initial release of SMan will be signed properly, this self signed exercise is only used as an interim solution to get as many people as possible to test SMan since the features used needs to be signed before it will work.

This build is not complete, we will add more modules and functions before it is ready. The signed .sis file you have created will only last six months. Please report all bugs that you find.

Please do not redistribute this .sis file, please ask your friends to register with my-symbian.com's forums. If I find this installer on any other site or forum that I visit, see, know, or google. I will not release anymore unsigned beta copies and you will just have to wait for it to be ready.




All bugs will be listed in this post. Bug discussions are still made in this thread.
