| I have an 8gb card running in mine without any problems at all ... I don't know about the 16gb card (would be interested to know that myself too).

While we're on this topic, can anyone confirm if either the 16gb M2 or MS duo work in the P990i?
Would be great to have most of my music on one device and throw the ipod touch in the bucket!

| I have an 8GB M2 and it works fine. As for a 16GB M2, I think it should work but have never tried it myself. One thing that needs to be checked is if it slows down the whole phone. I don't know what causes this, but I have my theories.

| I don't think there should be any performance problems with a bigger card (see details in the referenced thread). One thing should be added though: there _could_ be problems caused by the sector size of the disk/card. So it is advisable to find the best sector size before you start to use the disk, based on your actual data (few bigger files or many smaller files).

The official replay from SonyEricsson support on this issuse is up to 4Gb memory card for P1i. Why SE doesn't testet a larger MC.
So, i still waiting to some one, who testet a 16 GB M2 memory card. Tx

SE never test anything. Don't rely on them.

Fantastic. Videos, photos and thousands of music tracks.

| Some M2 sticks come with an adapter to turn them in to the Duo Pro. They are the same architecture and will work in all UIQ3 devices.
