Thing special here, you just create your exchange account and choose to sync mail, contacts and calendar.

But 3 things to note here:
1) N900 can't read folders under contacts, so you need to have all your contacts under the main contact section in exchange.
2) Some fields in the contacts screen under exchange won't sync to N900 and vice versa custom fields for telephone numbers won't sync back to exchange. But this issue is across all mobile phones.
3) For some reason I don't get all calendar invites on my N900, but I still don't know if that issue is with my exchange or N900.

I used Erminig to sync Google calendars and Exchange for work calendar + emails. It worked well for me.

Google doesn't use a standard Exchange protocol, so isn't supported with MfE on the N900. It may work for you though - there's been very mixed reports on this.

I use nuevasync which is perfect for me since I have multiple calendars at multiple servers. (Google, and two private servers). It works flawlessly Smile

No.. I have never paid and have been using them for about three years.. Maybe they changed it.. If I log in, it says "Account type: free", but maybe you can't sign up for the free ones any more...

This is too bad.

I'm planning to sync my N900 with my work's exchange server. Should be fine for mails, BUT
- I don't need all of my work contacts on my phone.
- more important: I don't want to have all my private contacts in my work PC's main contacts folder (I only want work contacts here).

Syncing contacts with PC suite, I can choose a folder to sync to - so now I have a folder "Contacts-Phone" with my private contacts and the business ones that I need to call from my cellphone from time to time.
Would be very comfortable if that could work with MfE as well...

Hello,

Meeting invites are a N900 problem. For whatever reason, they cannot except them not only from an Exchange environment but also a regular consumer Outlook user sending a simple meeting invite. It just does not arrive in our N900s.

Works fine for me using MfE (or did do anyway, I've not tested recently) - I receive invites, and can accept/reject them on the N900.

everything works fine for me. i just have complaints that some data which is pulled down by the activesync protocol don't get saved on the phone. the phone sees it when it is negotiating the protocol and syncing with Exchange but there is no provision in the email and calendar clients to save the data.
