Hey, could you please help me, there doesn't seem to be a link to anything here, what do I download??? ... what do I do with "tar xzf modest-3.4.2-baxyp-1.tar.gz -C /" ????? I am having problems with my email as well and would like to fix it... any help is appreciated, thanks in advance

Thanks for this tip. Do you know of any other "unofficial" updates worth doing?

Note! If you having problems installing this update: Make sure you are in the correct directory.

If in same directory as the downloaded file you could just type the first characters in the file name. Like: tar xzf mo and then press [tab]-key. Then, if file found, the rest of the name is automatically filled in and you only need to add the trailing -C / and press [enter].

Hello,

Seems that the same problems with E-mail have re-appeared after installing PR1.3 (very slow in opening e-mail folders and e-mail messages).

Would you recommend to do the fix advised on this thread on PR 1.3 ?

You can always try it. Just make a backup of the original files so that you can put it back there in case of any problem...
