Like I wrote earlier in this thread, the N900 is probably the most similar to UIQ (especially UIQ 2.x) of all the platforms you mentioned. Its UI is the most "desktop-like", it offers full multitasking, it is fully open.

If you were satisfied with UIQ phones, the N900 surely won't disappoint you.

And are you ever gonna get around to completing your Update Review of this device?? Razz

Or did I miss it (or am I thinking of another device review)? Sad

Warmest regards

If only more than one person requests it.... then yes, instantly.

How about if one person requests it more than once.?

Kinda like requesting by proxy; requesting on behalf of those we know really want to request but are to busy! Wink

Let's make a poll. If more than 50 people vote "Yes" then I will write it.

Count me as "Yes", although I already have an N900 and know what has/does. I also have a couple of E7s and other phones (S60, Android, iOS, etc.) to compare to. Didn't like the N900 enough as my main phone, so I gave it to my son, who seems happy with it (only one complaint so far; some Java app that has been available for other phones isn't available for the N900).

Yeah, great idea.

But wouldn't it be more effective you started a new thread with an appropriate title and had the Poll option enabled so that folks could vote (rather than having a ridiculously long thread just for peeps to say Yes or No)?

Thanks in advance.

Warm regards,

Well, anyone can create a thread with a poll, it doesn't have to be me...

Ok, I can create the topic with a poll. I guess "Yes" and "No" options are enough Wink

I will make within few hours.

If you liked UIQ phones then you will surely like the N900. Please give it a try. And it's going to get upgrade to MeeGo soon...

I love my N900 and no other phone on the market at the moment can replace it...

P.S. And you can install Android (NITdroid) on it, too.

I agree with Michal on this... I am a die-hard UIQ user... never liked the S60 nonsense... and am now using an N900... Smile
