Hi,

for some time, my E90 had shown a message like: "Please remove memory card, and re-insert". I assumed the card was broken (although I could still read it on the PC, via the adapter), so I got a new one. Unfortunately, the E90 can't find it, and just tells me "(No memory card inserted)". This card also reads and writes fine on the PC.

I have tried re-formatting (on the PC), and also upgraded the phone to the latest firmware, but nothing has helped.

Any ideas what might be going on?

Cheers

You could first try to clean the pins in the memory card slot on your E90. Maybe a piece of paper behind the memory card also will help. Or you may also have to carefully bend the pins a bit to get better contact to the memory card.

Thanks for the tip, Bent! I will try this later today, and report if it works.

Cheers!

I have had a similar problem recently where the memory card keeps self ejecting from the card slot. I thought that there was a problem with the card first and so I bought another, only to have the problem repeat itself. I solved it by placed a small slice of paper behind the card when inserting it and touch wood it is now staying in place.
