This thread has been quite silent for a while...

But today, to my surprise, a new Maemo update was available OTA. Version is labelled Maemo 5 21.2011.38-1.

I installed it - no problems and no visible change.

It's a security update, and just blacklists the DigiNotar certificate authority.

Is there any write up how to install it on mobile phone. I would also like to know if there is some good beginner level tutorial which describe how to write some example and deploy on phone, I heard other colleagues always talking about some certification issue which prevent them to install and run on device.
