| Old Picodrive render game just fine in view mode ,but GUI not fits the screen and rom choosing dialog is messed up badly. After exiting Pico from view mode i need to launch it again in normal mode for screen cleanup.

Here is a beta versopm to test.
I'm resizing the screen and font when you are flipping the screen. ALthough not all options will be visible in landscape mode. And please do not flip while playing. Should n't crash but you never know
Mega CD is not working yet, crashes on the phone, so have to debug that. Just got save/load state working so not really tested. Configuration still needs work.
And Happy Easter to you all!
(and yes.. sound skipping on the faster phones should be much nice, works great at frameskip 1 on my 6120.. also on autoskip).

...just so you know AG, sometimes the game freezes for a second. It doesn`t matter which game you play. Like a lagging thing...
Anyway, congrats to a superb Emu once again!!!!!

Works very well on my N93 (excluding the GUI problems, but thats common with N93). Sounds are perfect. And, OMOIKANE, save slot 0 works fine with my phone.
Many thaks AG, you are the greatest symbian developer. Keep up the good work!

Well.. slot 0 worked for me too. As for the N93, well Nokias screenswitching code is not the prettiest around, but I have one more thing I can try. Strange.. the dialog is a system dialog and that should look ok.. but it does n't.
The checkmark.. well another feature of the "standard" file selection dialog I'm using. Perhaps I should list the files my self.. Seems to be a better solution I guess.
The lines at the bottom, well I'm rendering 224 lines (screen is 240). which is the normal of NTSC roms I think, I could enable support for 240 lines, which would make PAL roms render full screen.
And btw, the synching code is from Notaz UIQ3 code, so all creds for him writing that.. The rest of the S60v3 UI, well thats me glueing everything together.
Btw.. patches are supported in a new fashion.
Instead of entering patches manually, you rename the pat file the same as the rom file +.pat.
So for Sonic1.smd, the corresponding pat file would be names sonic1.smd.pat
Loading the PAT file will automatically also load the rom. Patches can be enabled/disabled in the patches menu.
So you can download any PAT file from the net, rename it and put it together with your ROM, and voila better patch support.

Btw.. on which phone do you have audio lagging, and what audio rate are you using?
Also tip.. test the games on the PC to compare rendering. I guess I could do the same. And it would be nice to get the Mega CD support running, but thats a different story.

... sorry AG for not mentioning that earlier. I`m using a n82. Sound is perfect in almost every game I`ve tried (22Khz). I think it was in one game I heard the lagging sound otherwise the sound is perfect in my opinion.
But in some games the you play, the game "freeze"/"pause" for a second or more sometimes. Like lagging.... I don`t know what it is but it`s like the emu is going to fast....?
Best regards

| Well when the emu is going to fast, there is a small delay, and that delay varies to keep the emulation speed to 100%. You can always try to set the frameskip to 1 instead of auto.. 0 will probably not work very well. Also I notices using a headset with my 6120 also introduced some lag in some cases.

Even screensaver is messed up when Pico running.
I think Pico initialize something 240x320 when starting (got it?). But sys is 320x240. Or some mode (like games) with sys gui not supported. Or problems with "direct mode", i mean vBagX emulator glitch with "direct mode" enabled on n93. "bitmap mode" works fine.

What you mean about "common with n93"? I dont seeing that kind of problem before Pico. And yes, slot 0 works now, problem was with old savestates i think, from previous version of emu.
