Zed,

Any contact?

He keeps complaining on the other site and I asked him to visit here or pickup his PM from you. He has not posted back there, so I assume he has contacted you ..

No, still the only time I heard from him is his single post above in this thread. The PM I sent him is still in the outbox.

Zed,

At this point of time, we can just wait. If he continue to complain that CPS doesn't provide good support, he already lost point as I have posted the way to contact CPS on the thread.

Update: he'll contact you via email.

The 1.80 version of SMP is almost ready to go, but its completion has been delayed by many other priorities. I rather do not predict its release time, as the plans at CPS are quite fluid nowadays, influenced by many factors, one of which is the ratio between (1) the software purchasing mood of UIQ users, and (2) the rise of S60/SF-UI.

Zed,

Got an idea about shortcut:

How about pressing numeric key, i.e. 4 for cut, 5, for copy, 6 for paste once the appropriate file/directory is highlighted.

Other functions such as end all task might use 1, 2, 3 .. this way, it'll work for all UIQ phones.

Zed , there is a conflict between SMP1.70 icon and virtual keyboard. If the icon is on the keyboard the text input works much slower. It's a real problem for those who use X-Key virtual keyboard in the fullscreen mode because the icon can not be hidden automaticly while the virtual keyboard appears. Could you fix it in SMP2.00, please

The slowdown is not that big, and it only occurs if the X-key keyboard is in landscape orientation. SMP can not detect when this occurs, because X-key does not switch the screen to landscape, instead only displays itself in that orientation. However, you can switch off the SMP icon any time by tapping on the icon and then Tools/Hide icon.

Hi Zed, couldn't find anything documented on this. What is the advantage of SM 1.80 over SMP 1.70? Is it advisable to update or is there going to be a SMP 1.80 version as well.
FYI, I've been running my P1 with SMP 1.70 for over 80 days now. Very light usage but once upon a time with P990 this would have been unthinkable Wink

Absolutely nothing, this release is for the free version users.

No, SM Elite 2.00 is next.
