Hi there,

i updated to the new Firmware this morning and it seems that my v3.45 BB Connect won't connect to the server. I'm using BIS.

I uninstalled the Soft and installed again, checked every settings on my phone and also on my mobileemail account of my SP....

Somebody's BB Connect working with R5A???

Im not happy!!

Im paying for the service, why can't they release a FW update that comes with a new release of BB-C!!

It installs and runs fine, but i get no service books and they wont send from BIS either.

i tried v3.45 on both r5a16 and r5a17, no cigar.

does anybody have *any* news about this?

so glad i decided on the Active Sync route, new improved version seems to be working well with the new firmware.

I'd suggest giving it a go if an option.

I am on active syn too, but my company is now promoting blackberry.

If BB cannot be emulated on the 990i, do I need to wear (carry) 2 fons now .... I will look like batman . .. hi hi

Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Centre.

With regards to your enquiry, your Blackberry Connect software will need to be reinstalled on your handset as the Sony Ericsson Update Service updates the configuration of your handset. Which will change your Blackberry settings.

Any news for BB 4.0 for UIQ3 ? May be this will work ! It should also be stored in FLASH same as at Nokia N Series to spare RAM for applications under use !
Lets see what will happen. Things are getting better month by month.

Maybe it's time to ditch blackberry, waiting for the client is a pain. Active Sync works very well. It's MUCH faster then BBC 3.45. But it might just be the new firmware making it faster.

Please can people confirm if this is working. It's my file which has come via India, but it has Localized in the file name. Just want to ensure that it works on your phones before I finally flash my phone.
