| Please, anyone give me some help. I was charging my phone when I noticed that it had hang. So I took out the battery and put it back in. But the phone was starting up the display right away. But it just hangs there, white with the Nokia logo, and then goes black again, and then white, and so on. I cant do anything at all. I just had it for about two weeks, and now this. Is there something that I can do?

Hi,
If it hangs in white background with Nokia logo, probably the system is damaged.
You don't have the possibility to restore to factory settings using *#7370# neither trying to re-flash it with Nokia Updater.
The only solution will probably be to send it to Nokia Sevice Center so that they can flash it using the cables that go under the battery.
It's better for you to send it there.
Good luck

Why don't you just check our FAQ or use this site's Search funtion to immediately find the solution yourself instead of wasting so much time on waiting for someone to repeat what's already been posted so many times?

That's not correct. See the link above.

Try reconnecting the battery WHILE pressing the format keys.

1) It's a new phone to the market.
2) Not all owners post on the Internet.
3) You got a faulty unit.

If you have tried everything the answer that will solve all your problems.....is...take the unit back!
I know it feels frustrating as you want to play with your new phone, but since it will hold all your information you might as well return for a stable unit that wont wipe all your data or explode or whatever. I feel the frustration.

Hmmmm, to be honest, its interesting to me (as i have both colour phones) the quality of the Sand just isnt as good as the Plum. After battling with my Sand N95 for a little bit (first replacement screen due to power surges, then the new LCD as it started fading, or getting dark at the bottom) I have received a new Sand colour Nokia today, and the quality is so much better... I have a feeling that the 1st batch of the Sand coloured phones were a little dodgy.....
For the record, my plum coloured one hasnt missed a beat, and its already been dropped a couple of times (still without scratches thank god)...
