There is a new firmware available through NSU. I have no idea what has been updated, but the upgrade went smoothly. I can't take a screenshot because the screenshot application only allows the use of Edit key, which is missing Smile

Does anyone know what has been changed?

I have changed the title of this thread to "E90 firmware thread". This thread is for discussion of new firmware versions for the E90.

If you use this website you will find that you can check which current version is available for your phone with having to run the Nokia NSU software.

So far I have noticed that it locks faster to satellites in GPS-functions.

could be that the assisted GPS function is working now properly also on the E90 - assuming from this info about the N95: http://symbianguru.typepad.com/welcome/2007/06/new_n95_firmwar.html

This seems to be the issue with the phone manufacturers. They never post what is new. It would be nice to know if an upgrade is worth doing or not. For some the fix might not warrant the hassle of reinstalling everything again if it only fixes something to rarely or dont use on the phone.

Updated from 7.22.4.0 to 7.24.03
Lost Y-browser and Internet radio in the process. Had to reactivate Navigation and register again on World Mate. No other problems.
Changes? At least Mobile search works now.

Actually, I haven't noticed ANY changes between 7.22.4.0 and 7.24.03... Must be some cosmetic changes or fixes in the system which are not visible to users.

The first few firmware updates after the initial release of the E90 are undoubtedly bug fixes. Later on, we may also see some usability improvements, like more shortcuts.

Maybe you could take a look at my message two posts earlier than yours.
