Lost Y-browser and Internet radio in the process. Had to reactivate Navigation and register again on World Mate. No other problems.
Changes? At least Mobile search works now.

Lost at least Best Profiles, Quickoffice 4, Officesuite 2.20, Y-browser

Web browser still likes to quit without any warning on 07.24.0.3.... most annoying!

Can't surely be a memory problem (the E90 has loads and the pages loaded when it quits aren't that big)??

Since I installed 7.24 I have noticed a small bug with using Dataviz Roadsync. When I get an email and open the phone to view on the big screen and select new email, it opens the email and when I choose reply, the text input seems to be for T9. If I hit the shift key a menu pops up. The only fix is to abort the email reply, close the phone and reopen it and the email. Now it works fine. This was not happening with 7.22

Not seen it with SMS or normal email so far. Have email Dataviz incase this is something they are doing.

[EDIT]
Just opened the phone to do an SMS and it is doing exactly the same with SMS so this seems to be a bug with the phone software afterall. Looking at the bottom of the screen it is in T9 mode and this is why it seems to exhibit this error.

[EDIT 2]
Interestingly if you press the Chr key and # you can toggle the mode but it still seems to accept T9 input!!!

I think I will wait and watch before I go in for a firmware update. As things stand, I dont have problems wit 7.22 ...

I do hope they address the name display order in the Messaging App in the next update. That will be my trigger (for the time being).

I can't check as I don't have it yet. Have you tried reimaging it?

Bit the bullet and updated the firmware on mine. So far so good -- nothing missing. Seems to be snappier overall. Actually doing this post from the E90 - post updation.

Cheers,

I upgraded my firmware to 7.24.0.3 as soon as I got my phone, so I am not sure if the following problems exist on the earlier firmware version:-

1. When you go to the Dialled Numbers or Missed Call screen all the Phone Icons next to the Contact name appears as a "Mobile" Phone Icon, even if the number is a Landline. In my E65 and E61 the call list will differentiate the Icon depending on whether it is a Mobile number or a Landline number. This is very irritating because when you see the Contact name you dont know which number it is. Also the "Dialled Numbers" on the Screen appears ver small compered to "Missed Calls" or "Received Calls"

2. In Profiles, In Silent Mode, I have set the "Ringing" setting to Beep Once and have kept everything else (excepts Vibrating alert) to Off. However the Phone Beeps not only for Calls but also for Emails. In E65 and E61 the phone Beeps only for calls and not for emails.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

harishlakshman: I checked it on my E90 (V 07.22.4.0) still is the same issue too. And I go to check on my N76, it's the same as E90 too. I think it's has some bug on software that Nokia didn't know on this.

Same on mine...
I deleted all old calls and tried with clear screen using a land line..showed a mobile icon.

I have also checked Menu > tools> sett wizard that is OK..
But my Y browser and Y Tools have disappeared and the PC Suite/Phone refuses to re-install these applications??
Tried twice came back with "instalation failed"

By the way the PC Suite that come on the CDROM is old...you need to update it...I found that the "Image Convertor for E90" would not install untill I updated the PC Suite..one would have thought that Nokia might have put the latest version on the CDROM Rolling Eyes

EDIT:
Now managed to re-install Y Browser and Tools..a quick manual re-boot..(battery out) seemed to clear it's brain!

i hope a later firmware will help with the static during calls. It can be maddening at times! Seems totally random too.
