I'm very sorry to hear about your problem.

It is always advisable to keep the charger connected to the phone when flashing it. This way there's no risk of the phone discharging completely before the flashing concludes...

Unfortunately, if the phone doesn't turn on at all and the screen remains completely blank (no Nokia logo, etc) then I'm afraid that there's nothing you can do using legally and officially available tools. If it was at least showing the Nokia logo then you could make the flashing software recognize it and reflash it.

Nokia service centres have Nokia service software called "Phoenix" which has an option to flash a dead phone and this may be the only chance to bring the phone back to life. Publicly available tools will not recognize such a completely dead phone and will not reflash it.

A cracked version of Phoenix can be found in the Internet, but it is illegal to use it since it is a copyrighted software, and besides it is said to be infected with a virus (trojan horse) so I wouldn't recommend using it.

If you move from country to country every month, you surey can find a Nokia service centre who will flash your phone and I'm sure they won't charge you much for it...

The problem is not what could this flashing costs, but how much time it will take.

I just came to a "Nokia Care" shop inside Chongqing. I heard that they are not able to flash my cellphone here. I will go to other places this afternoon.

Thanks for your helpful awnsers Smile.
