I had this problem, but seemed to find a work around. Instead of using the Bluetooth program to add the phone, do the following:

- install the SE PC Suite first
- add the phone (or any other devices) with M-Router (via the Bluetooth Settings Tab)

This seemed to solve my problems (on several different machines, so not a fluke).

Basically I dont use the internal Bluetooth program except to set up the various folder options for data exchange, etc.

To connect to a device (eg: the phone, to sync via the PC Suite or other program) right click on the M-Router Icon & select connect, or go to the Bluetooth Settings Tab and choose (a non default) device.

Hope this helps Wink

Many thanks mate! Will try that.
Indeed, I didn't install PCSuite yet.

Mmm...can you translate what the guy says??? Can you ask him what source he has???

Its interisting, but i would not get my hopes high...and i can imagine it will only serve to block hacks (no thanks)

we are in week 40, and 41 is next...if something were to come up, i think Zed from CPS already would have noticed it on EMMA for devs

Just looked and it seems still R6G04 is the newest available firmware for the P1. Nevertheless, R6H25 sounds like a real name, so who knows...

Damn... Evil or Very Mad I just spent almost 2 days getting my P1 as I want it after a format. It used to be exciting after a new fw but the excessive number of repetitions with P990 has taken the fun out of it.
In contrast, after a ROM update with HTC Tytn II, you can get your phone to its previous state in at most 1 hour.
As @ares has pointed out, I hope SE has not done something to prevent the hacks, that would be a huge step backwards for the P1.

I read the whole topic on www.uiq.eu (my language).
It's a rumour without any real confirmation.
The patch thing - half of the posters agreed it's not a change at all. Those guys also have different CDA's, so it's highly controversial stuff.
We can check around 20th of this month (as rumour says).
But that may be only upgrade to SOME CDA's, since they appear later (after Generic). So that may be it.

Interestingly, the supposed update is meant to appear on SEUS around the time of the smartphone show...

Guys...please see the upate on the thread

http://66.102.9.104/translate_c?hl=pt-PT&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http://www.uiq3 .eu/viewtopic.php%3Fp%3D56613&usg=ALkJrhi5WZTEMvOZ6cuAqa88LbnJu_4Ihw#5 6613&sid=dfe0cc13b2dc82fb5a4ce41755e14902

Apparently the test firmware add this:

* Opera Update 9.5
* Fixed tmp errors.
* New interface & rebuilding zam.exe
* Fixed speed java
* New flash lite 3.1
* New Java SE

w00t??? this do relates to what i was hinting in the post before this one (opera 9.5 for symbian is rumored to be presented on the symbian smartphone show, next week)

but it seems WAY to much to expect from SE, giving the past

@Zed, from what i read, they say the beta version of this firmware is on EMMA for testers right now...i think you can check it
