Sorry for another post...
86hitman,
I'm new at this and I honestly have no idea what that code means...the one you have given. I would need a plugin in ,sis format and maybe one that supports missed calls and e-mails too. If someone could modify the infoview plugin to have those extra options, it would be great.
Thanks in advance.

As for the code, thats for the programmers/Gary....i'd create a plug in myself since i do programming but I dunno how to turn code into a sis app

I'll be waiting for a new plugin and then I might create some other designs too. I sure hope someone can help us...

version 0.33d:
* fixed skinnable icon highlight in window problem
* fixed page link in window problem
* changed application launch code, it should now launch Python apps correctly - let me know if anything else fails to launch
* change the InfoView signal meter to rescale the 8 values down to the 6 required by the bitmap; this retains compatibility with icons produced for the UIQ version. Let me know whether this also fixes the overriding problem (only first and last icons shown) - if it doesn't I'll post a version that has some debug.

This attempt didn't fix the problem, still the only recognizable icons by the plugin are the first and the last.

The signal indicator is working properly in this version of infoview.
Thanks a lot Gary.

I tried it too, and i got the same!
The other signal meter works, the example one from UIQ with 5 bars.
Is it possible for us s60 users to display the full 7 bars, Gary? Or is it like this so the themes are cross platform compatable?

isit possible to distinguish between s60 and UIQ? therefore just for signal meter and simple IF statement could allow for correct numbers of bars... i know doing that starts making the code messy, but lets hope this is the only time it is needed...
oh, but using the icon with 5 bars does display correctly on s60... its better than a 'boolean' graphic, so i'm happy
