Is it possible to emulate for example a Motorola 68040 on this platform? I´m talking about around the 25/50, 33/66 and 40/80 those CPUs had. If it can be done - more powerful Amiga applications can be used - and perhaps even the Mac OS 7.x can be up and running.

If the speed can be the same as a 68040 CPU it would be very good because there´s a good assortment of applications who are good from a function point of view and requires that power.

But you can`t do much with them without hd support. as AG pointed out, it isn`t winuae - only adf support. so you are talking about very small amounts of games (as 99,99% of those that require 040 require hd also) and even smaller amount of demos.
so even with better cpu support, there is almost nothing to do with it without hd emulation.

I absolutely cannot wait now!! Even if it only runs close to A500 with sound it is still a great achievment. There was a port of uae4all to n80x tablets floating around at some time. It was running at natrive a500 speed with sound. Sadly it is not being continued as far as I know and the code is bit buggy and crashes a lot. Cant wait for your attempt AG. You have never let us down before !Thank You

I agree with that Smile

Sure, a A1200 with HD would have been nicer, but a A500 is still royally awesome Cool

AG, posting about Lemmings dreams, displaying some Amiga screens on a E90, I never thought that porting UAE, or (in this case even better) UAE4ALL to S60 would be reality. It seems I could be wrong in near future...! Keep on, keep on!

Nokia should realize that somewhere in the field very talented programmers are busy with their products. And realize, because of that, their S60 platform is really a lot more valuable. For me this is the reason staying with Symbian.

Nokia, when you read this, please consider to offer AG some (future) hardware so you and your customers can enjoy AG talents on a better way!

And Michal, look what exciting things happening on your site. Keep on, keep on!

AnotherGuest, this is truly amazing!

However, I'm having issues running this on the inner screen on my Nokia E90 where it is the wrong orientation and only displays part of the screen. What do I need to change to fix this on my end, since I assume it works on the E90 based on the pics.

BTW, I apologize for breaching etiquette since I sent you a private email and am posting the same question here, but I thought that it might be more appropriate to put comments/beta testing in the open forum.

Thanks much!

The E90 screen posted in this thread and on the home page is just an illustration, not a real screenshot. At this stage you can't get a full screen display with correct aspect ratio on the E90. Hopefully this will change in future updates.

The photo on the front page is beautiful but fake. It's a screenshot from WinUAE displayed on my E90 in full screen.

Now I did some comparisons with the original gp2x version and how well my version is running. My 6120 is running at 369 mhz.. the gp2x at 250 mhz.. in some places the gp2x is faster, sometimes the 6120 is 50% faster.. like it should with 100 mhz more. It depends on the actual game and situation.

I got sound running.. that steals 2-4 fps right now. (on a 6120 classic.. i.e all 369 mhz arm11 based devices).. on slower devices it might be more. N95 is a different puppy all together..
