It has about 18mb. Only minor changes. Sometimes You have to refresh or reboot to see the update.

My phone blinked the update icon this morning. The new version is 1.2009.44.1, so it's not much newer.

The only change I've seen is the nice new category icons in app manager. Wonder when they'll actually roll out the PR1.1 release.

Apparently the changes are:

Quote:

konttori_nokia: kernel contains one fix, which is allowing HAM to trigger ubifs to higher compression level for the SSU update.
konttori_nokia: browser contains one fix, which is browser UA string to say that it's pr1.0.1 device.
konttori_nokia: GTK contains one fix, which is dropping the icon cache support.
konttori_nokia: application manager contains 37 fixes, mostly related to SSU stability
konttori_nokia: And a bit related to the new look of the app grid.

mine is 21 mb. i updated mine as well, my first attempt it froze somewhere at around 25% then it says download update failed. so i tried it again, this time it freaked me out saying its only 33kb and i can't stop it bcoz i didn't think about backing it up. its a miracle that it rebooted and no hickups, but i'm not sure if its 33kbs i have left b4 it failed or i only downloaded 33kbs in total missed majority of the update which would suck. i guess i can still flash it later right?

The Application Manager on my N900 reported no update was available. But after finishing the search for updates, the Application Manager did show the update at the very top of list of applications. I have now updated my N900.

got it. i was trying the nsu...

same, 21 mb. went well.

only thing noticed right now is that the application manager is better. it was blinking before before it would let me select anything, so not it just goes right to the manager.

other then that, not noticing much.

great part about updates on this unit....it doesnt erase all your data!!! YEAH! you dont have to reinstall all your apps and set-up your email.

edit:

OMG!!!! it is WAY faster opening and closing apps and moving through the differnt functions!!! and the scrolling is seemingly smoother. i didnt see anything in there about email getting updated, but am going to see if it is anybetter. hope they eventually make it cache rather then always update the same info.

It should be possible to update via Nokia Software Updater. This will wipe out all your settings and installed apps though, so make sure you get a backup first.
