Hi

I have a database related App written for me in EPOC32 to run on the Psion 5MX.

I'd seriously like to get this working on the N900. Can it be ported to Maemo 5 or will it need to be re-written from scratch?

Any suggestions most welcome (sorry, I'm not a developer!)

Thanks

If it's an EPOC32 app then it's most probably written in OPL. Unfortunately, you'll need to write it from scratch and Python is probably the closest thing to OPL you can get.

Well, almost certainly is putting it a bit strong; a fair few were in C++. If so, you may have a chance of some porting. That said, I would imagine there's a fair amount of UI work that would be needed, not to mention the totally different filesystem paradigms...
