You have to buy the extra levels for Angry Birds at Ovi Store, see:

Angry Birds - Level pack 1:
http://store.ovi.com/content/23857

Angry Birds - Level pack 2:
http://store.ovi.com/content/44729

Angry Birds - Level pack 3:
http://store.ovi.com/content/44732

When you have bought the extra levels, you can download them to the N900 and they will install automatically on the device.

For me the best 1.3 features are smooth video recording, better internet, faster e-mail client, better multitasking.

Hey Guys,

Any one facing less battery backup problem while using Internet on the device after getting update with PR 1.3.

I am experiencing the same from last 1 week, the battery start getting empty very soon if I m using Internet about next 30 mins.

N yaa very most important fact... I tired to go back to the out of box state by using vanilla image and emmc image.. -- Vanilla Image worked properly but when I tied using emmc image .. it stopped on "Suitable device not found, waiting"

n there is no sign of USB on device though system also give error that "the hardware didnt installed properly and not work properly".

I m not getting what is the cause of this. the drivers installed properly.

I m using Win XP OS.

Please suggest anything I can fix this problem with.

Regards

Hey Guys,

There is new kind of problem I'm came across with PR 1.3.

This problem is related to the Contact's back up and restore. I have taken a full backup today morning and done hard rest to my phone.

What I have seen, when I done restoring the backup my contact which were more than 200+ Its only showing 117.

Its deleting randomly on every time when I take back up and restore it again..

Has any one come across with this sort of problem. Can any one give me solution for this.

Regards

There are rumours about firmware PR 1.4 coming in Q2 2011, see:

http://www.youmobile.org/blogs/entry/Nokia-N900-PR-1-4-launch-Q2-2011a nd-may-have-MeeGo1-2-with-Dual-boot

I read somewhere in the comments to some bug report at maemo.org that some updates that came out in PR 1.3 were definitely the last updates of the components in question. But who knows, with a new CEO new winds are blowing at Nokia, so we might acutally see such an update to the N900.

I'd say this is idle speculation - no way Nokia would release a dual booting upgrade - it was cause too many WTF customer services calls. It may add the facility to do so as an option - but my N900 has that already available by installing a package. Then there is the issue of where MeeGo would reside? Would the OTA upgrade partition the emmc for the MeeGo partition? Just does not sound feasible to me.

@Bentl

you know bent, at CES, n900's were as rampent as iphones here in the silicon valley next to elppa headquarters. they were everywhere....i actually felt wierd not being the ONLY one.

the nokia geeks working the qt booth and the non-geek running the meego pod at intel were both very explicit that meego was on a 6month continuous update patern. meaning that another update to meego is about april 2011.

my guess, with seeing all the n900's and asking the nokia-geek if the demo unit he was showing me with all the units integrating in the demo being on meego, he said simply, "no, but i can boot it in meego and do the same", then i would guess that so long as they use the n900 to develop meego for handset that they will still release some updates parallel to the meego update release to further the developement for all.

i have to tell you....i think i understood what an iphoney user feels like when in that area...it was wierd to be around so many that understand what you have an can do! lmao.

i should add, that even if they do release more updates in parallel, i would doubt it would include bug fixes for misc items rather just items that prohibit the growth, and block meego developement.

even the maemo integration team here in Mt. View, is now meego.

sounds fun Smile

But makes it seem even weirder that nokia is doing such a lousy job in supporting/promoting this one-of-a-kind device...

The UK version of firmware PR 1.3 is now available at:

http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php

This makes it possible for users in the UK to reflash their N900 with this version of the firmware. I don't know how the UK version differs from the global version.
