in the USA, tmo has opened its video calling abilities with its new device releases....so my guess is that i should be able to use my video calling feature now without the use of skype.

i have put a check mark in the box, but when i am on a call with another n900, it still does not give me the option to use it, nor is it an option to add to a contact.

does anyone know how to use this feature?

3G video calling is not supported on the N900. Only Nokia can add such a feature since only they have access to the GSM/UMTS software in the device.

Does person that You want to call have a phone with video-call ability? Long time ago I checked videocall with my brother and I remember that both phones should have videocall mode enabled (as a matter of fact both were symbian powered, and quality of this connection was poor Wink). Didn't checked N900 for that Wink

Page 57 and 58 in the printed User Guide are about Internet video calling, see also online User Guide, not 3G video calling.
