I am a heavy user of Opera mobile 10, Quickoffice 6, and the built-in Music Player, Podcasting, Camera, Photos and Videos apps on my N97

My phone currently has 25mb of free space on C, and i have already removed non essential apps from C, maybe apart from Qt, QtMobility and QtWebKit.
I would like to install Ovi Maps 3.6 (currently have 3.3 built into firmware v20.0.110), i think Ovi Maps 3.6 installs requires between 11-15mb of C disk space; which will only leave 10-14mb free on C.

Do folks on this forum have any comment/advice whether that is enough space to keep the N97 stable and run the apps in particularly the ones above smoothly?

I don't know the very bottum , I guess ~ 10MB . At the moment 27.6MB free on C: , with the new Ovi maps installed , and no serious issues as you'll know .

Hello ..

I could not take this problem more space on C:, then took a full day to learn more about maximizing the most of my device.
Before, with my apps installed, I was left with 10 ~ 15mb of free space, and practically my phone is for nothing, since restarted all the time, and I was tired of those messages memory full.
What I did:

Full Reset (formatted the E: and F: (memory card)
Hard Reset (pressing shift, backspace and space, and connecting the phone until the nokia logo appears)
updating my firmware to 22.0.110
Gold Python installed on E: and G-Force to clean the C:
FOTA removed, released a 5mb
I installed all the possible apps on E: and researched some mods and patches to increase speed of the device

On my N97, I have installed:
X-plore, JBAKTASKMAN, PR +, JustHackit! (method to hack without changing CFW), gravity, operates 11 mobile, facebook, youtube, Ovi Store updated phonetorch 2.0, windows live messenger, adobe reader, Unrar, office 6.2, shazam, Skype and more than Vbag (emulator Game Boy Advance)
I followed a tutorial for using the best performance JBAKTASKMAN, preventing the system to start by making processes, etc.
Ultimately:
55 ~ 62MB free RAM
C: 48MB free
I tell you, it's another mobile phone after I did it ... give up now like to have a n97.
Good luck ^ ^
