Has anyone been having problems with the motherboard not being able to recognise the sim card in the mobile. My motherboard was replaced due to this problem last year and has now developed the same problem again. As the phone warranty has just finished Nokia will not do anything about it. Any suggestions please.

Looks like a problem with soldering points, like with the USB port.

Thank you for your reply. My n900 started working soon after your reply but now staopped anything relavent to the sim, blurtook, wifi etc works ok. Any advise would be greatfully accepted as I do not want to throw away a great mobile without trying to fix.
