Battery life is actually quite good now, with the 'fix'.

Today, 12 hours after unplugging, usage including almost 5 hours of playing music via cutespotify and the media player , battery level.was still at more than 70%.

Almost three hours of music playback were in the car using Bluetooth audio streaming .

That's true, battery life is simply excellent if tohd.service is stopped. I hope that Jolla releases an official update for this soon, not only fixing the power consumption issue but also simply correcting the recognition of TOH which is now completely unused. My phone does not recognize TOH at all even when tohd.service is running and all I get is "This The Other Half is not working. Problem with store". With TOH being the KEY feature of the Jolla, differentiating it from other platforms, this really should be corrected ASAP.

After I updated mine to 1.0.2.5 I removed my OH to show someone the concept and as I was attaching TOH again, I got surprisingly an ambience installed fron store 'snow white'. So, it somehow works now.

In my case it is still the same error message (tried like 20 times a while ago), and that's of course only if I start tohd.service as otherwise it doesn't work at all.

Also, I must say that I hoped for The Other Half to be more easily attachable/removable. It is really inconvenient, and I've got the feeling that if I do it some 50 times more then all the latches will eventually break. Of course, it is not a problem if you only have one TOH that you won't be removing too often, but the whole idea is about multiple, interchangeable accessory covers, right...? It should have been a very simple, ONE-CLICK action, and not 8 or so fragile plastic latches...

Wow, that's nice, thanks for letting me know. So it looks that some other developers probably have the same problem... Sadly, no comment from Jolla though.

And now you have eight voters.

Edit: nine
