BusinessWeek Online
BusinessWeek Online has published today an article written by Steve Baker. Steve doesn't like 9210 and tells us about it in every single line of his text, but he proves his opinions with arguments, which are simply ridiculous for me. Steve writes, that the biggest disadvantage of 9210 is that... you have to read user manual to learn all 9210's functions. Really funny! I always thought that user manual is meant to help people and not to be thrown away to the garbage. And this especially concerns 9210's 300-page manual, which is the best testimony to new Communicator's potential and functionality...(BTW. I didn't read the manual and I am doing quite well). If Steve is looking for a device which doesn't need any user manual to get familiar with, I think he should go for something like Sagem Junior - ten keys in ten different colors are quite easy to learn in just couple of minutes. The second 9210's con in Steve's opinion is that one have to enter incoming and outgoing mail server in e-mail configuration. That's even better! Is there someone who knows a device in this world, which can connect to your mailbox and send/receive e-mail messages without knowing your account's server? Should it guess the correct address or maybe "download" it directly from user's brain? Steve won't buy 9210 because he wants a device which can send and receive his e-mails with just a couple of OK-presses and without any configurations, POP3/SMTP servers etc. It seems that Steve just doesn't know much about not only mobile Internet, but also about Internet in general. Poor Steve. He won't find such a device in next 30 years... I am really surprised that as good and esteemed title as BusinessWeek publishes such lousy articles.

No OPL - no software...
RMR Software canceled their four ready applications for N9210: RMR Bank, RMR Car, RMR Expenses, RMR Fuel. These applications are very popular on EPOC-based platforms. Unfortunately, they cannot be used in N9210, since Nokia - for no reason - didn't include OPL or even the OPL runtime in 9210. Since OPL applications are very common in Epoc world, we can assume that thousands of great EPOC programs won't be ever ported to N9210... Can you tell us WHY, Nokia?
