Rest In Peace Bret.....
Bohdan Tyminski known as Bret was a moderator of the Polish part of My-Symbian discussion forums. He had been with us since the very beginning: since early Nokia 9000/9110 Communicator times, i.e. for more than 8 years. Bret suddenly disappeared from the forums after last Christmas. Two days ago we found his obituary in the Internet - he passed away on December 29th, 2006 at the age of 39... Bret was one of the most friendly, bright and disinterested persons I've ever met in the Internet. Despite being a handicaped and ill person (which I found out only recently as he never disclosed it), he had always been extremely helpful and kind for everyone. This website, especially the Polish part of it, owes him a lot and probably wouldn't exist if not the enormous effort he put into running it and helping our members. We will always remember Bohdan and thousands of his posts and articles will be here as long as this site is alive. Rest in peace, bret, you will always live in our memories. THANK YOU for everything. My-Symbian will never be the same again without you...

--------

Bret byl jedna z najbardziej pogodnych, zyczliwych i przyjaznych osob spotkanych przeze mnie w Internecie. Zegnaj Bohdanie. DZIEKUJE Ci za wszystko. My-Symbian bez Ciebie juz nigdy nie bedzie taki sam...

Wszyscy, ktorzy pamietaja breta z naszego serwisu moga pozegnac sie z Nim i wyrazic kondolencje na naszym forum dyskusyjnym.

[New] Amoebax for UIQ3
Another great freeware port to UIQ3 from AnotherGuest: Amoebax is a cute and addictive Tetris-like action-puzzle game. Due an awful mutation, some amoeba's species have started to multiply until they take the world if you can't stop them. Fortunately the mutation made then too unstable and lining up four or more will make them disappear.

[New] Quake I for S60 3rd Edition FP1 phones
Hinkka has ported Quake I engine to the S60 3rd Edition platform. The port is fully functional and works very fast, the only missing thing is network play. The software works only on S60 3rd Edition FP1 (Feature Pack 1) phones (e.g. the N95, E90, 6110, etc.) equipped with ARMv6 processors. The port is Open Source and uses Symbian's P.I.P.S libraries. I must say that Quake looks really impressive on E90 Communicator's huge internal screen. Via AAS.
