New S60 3rd Edition slider from Samsung: SGH-L870
Today at the S60 Summit in Barcelona, Samsung announced its new S60 3rd Edition (Feature Pack 2) based phone called SGH-L870. Packed with 3 Megapixel camera, 3G, FM radio, it's a slider with brushed aluminum casing. More details and tech specs will be published once they become known.

[New] CalSyncS60 for S60 3rd Edition
CalSyncS60 from Petteri Muilu provides two-way synchronization between S60 phones and Google Calendar. For example, when you add an appointment to Google Calendar it will also appear in your phone calendar. Just start the application and hit sync.

[New] pySMSflooder and pyRinger for S60 3rd Edition
Zoellner has written two small but quite malicious Python programs: pyRinger can call multiple times to the same phone number, while pySMSflooder can add a ton of SMS messages to it. I wouldn't recommend using these programs unless someone really deserves it ;)

Beeper from ariek44 is a small Python program that notifies you with speech about every full hour. Additionally, it can show current time, date and free memory anywhere on the screen. Further options include backlight control, notification when battery recharging is complete, phone restart and export of SMS messages to a text file.

Marble Maze by Cahoona Games is a labyrinth game that utilizes the orientation sensor built inside some S60 mobile phones. In the game you control a ball inside a labyrinth by tilting the device in your hands. Currently there are 40 different labyrinths to solve, and 3 different balls, a metal ball, a rubber ball, and a super pingpong ball. First fields are easy, but they get harder once you advance. The game requires skill, accuracy, and determination, and is highly addictive.

Do you often have to take some action right after the call? Like call back, make a note, make a calendar entry? Then AfterCall from SymbianGuru is exactly what you need. After your conversation ends, the message window with call details appears, and you have quick access to all needed actions, like: call number, send message, add to contacts, add a calendar entry etc. Using AfterCall you do not need to make unnecessary movements to add new numbers to the contact list or to assign a meeting, to send the SMS/MMS message to the number which was just calling you some minutes ago. New E90 firmware 210.34.75 now available
Nokia has just released an official firmware update for the E90 Communicator. Version 210.34.75 adds the following improvements:

* Flash Lite 3 and Flash video now works, YouTube plays almost perfectly
* Web runtime supported
* New QuickOffice version 4.1.27.5
* Faster operation and booting
* Some bug fixes, including the infamous Calendar bug.
