Track and Protect: best security solution for your phone - Detailed Review
Track and Protect (TnP) from Klomptek is probably the best and the most advanced security and theft prevention/recovery software ever made for Symbian phones. Remote locking, backup and alarm, possibility to remotely wipe all data including the memory card, obtaining precise location of your phone and seeing it on a map, discovery and delivery of all details of an alien SIM card (phone number, IMSI, operator ID, etc.), "mugshot" function (taking remote pictures of person tampering with your stolen/lost phone) and remote listening to your phone's surroundings, all using remote SMS commands and a feature rich web account on Klomptek's server, give you all you may need to locate and retrieve your lost or stolen device. Read our Track and Protect Review to get familiar with all the details.

Advanced SMS Preview - check new messages without using your hands
Advanced SMS Preview from Melon Mobile lets you give new incoming messages a quick read while you keep up with your activities at the moment: carrying out a meeting, driving, talking on the other phone, writing a memo, minding the baby... Careful of protecting your privacy, ASP gives you the extra option to disable the preview for some contacts (wife, lawyer, boss) if you feel that the contents of their messages can be sensitive. You can check each newly arrived text message without even using your hands and decide whether you need to handle it right away with Advanced SMS Preview.

Samsung to focus on Windows 7 Phone
Only several weeks ago Samsung announced that they drop support for the Symbian platform and now it seems that another serious change is on the horizon. Samsung's Sitthichoke Nopchinabutra announced that the company is going to focus on development of Windows Phone 7 based smartphones, rather than Android, as they consider Windows Phone a better platform. Therefore, Windows Phone will get the highest priority, at the expense of Android, and even Samsung's own Bada.

Sitthichoke said that Samsung cell phones releases for the upcoming years have already been scheduled and for every 50 Windows Phone based models there will be just 24 Android phones and only 5 Bada ones. This seems to be a very interesting and intriguing change considering Android's huge (and rapidly growing popularity) and also that Samsung's recent Android based smartphone, the Galaxy S, has been a huge market hit.

I Am Here - precision-locating tool for Nokia Maps
I Am Here is a precision-locating tool for Nokia Maps you can use any time directions are needed! It locates you using GPS or Cell ID positioning and points your position on the familiar Nokia map on your phone. Even GPS positioning can be unreliable and imprecise, so with I am here you can manually fine-tune any inaccuracies or pin-point another location you want to direct someone to. You can then send this point via SMS to the person(s) needing your directions.

Symbian Podcatcher now available for Symbian^3
The Symbian Podcatcher is a full featured podcast manager for Symbian. It is based on the codebase from the Escarpod podcatcher originally developed for UIQ 3, which has been updated for Symbian^3, where (as well as on Eseries phones) it may turn out to be especially useful due to lack of native podcasting client. There is also a working port for Symbian^1 and Symbian^2. You can download it from here.
