Third Orange Code Camp
Next Orange Code Camp will take place in Opio in France between 17 and 19 October, 2005. Code Camp will bring together mobile application developers, games publishers, content providers, device manufacturers and operating systems companies from all over the world, for 72 hours of workshops, seminars, networking and testing.

As with the previous award-winning events in Europe and the US, Code Camp Opio has been put together in order to stimulate the creation of new and exciting applications for a variety of different mobile phone operating systems. Those applications selected will then appear in the Orange internal product catalogue for a possible distribution to over 56 million customers in 16 countries. Products that have been successful to date include travel, personal productivity, vehicle tracking, salesforce automation and location-based applications. Attendees will gain valuable insight into the strategies of Orange and France Telecom and will be given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the various technology standards deployed by Orange such as GSM, GPRS, 3G, EDGE and Wi-Fi. Gold sponsorship support of the event will be given by industry partners Symbian, Sony Ericsson and UIQ Technology.

[New] Spybot - Search & Destroy for UIQ
Spybot - Search & Destroy by Patrick M. Kolla can detect and remove spyware of different kinds. Spyware is a relatively new kind of threat that common anti-virus applications do not yet cover. More and more spyware (including e.g. tracking cookies) is emerging that is silently tracking your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile of you that will be sold to advertisement companies. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm in trying to see if something snooped into your smartphone.

[New] HideMedia UIQ
HideMedia by electroInventor is a small tool that allows you to hide and unhide all your private media files on your UIQ phone. Do you have files that you don't want to be shown in media browsers like "pictures", "videos", "documents" or any other applications? Why use encryption software that needs minutes for processing just a few files if you do not need the time-killing safe encryption? Instead of encrypting files completely, HideMedia UIQ only encrypts parts of them. Now you can hide even very large files in just a second.

[New] QBubbleMP for UIQ
QBubbleMP by Jelte Liebrand is the multi player version of QBubble. In multiplayer mode, if you 'pop' more than 3 bubbles, they get sent to the other players. Better be quick though, because you can get bubbles from others too! This multi player mode puts a complete new and different game play to the original single player game.

QBubbleMP is a clone of Bust-a-Move / Frozen-Bubble / many others. The big difference is that it runs on Symbian OS and it has multiplayer mode. Starting a multiplayer game connects to the QBubble Server where you will join the lobby. From there you can create or join game session, each containing up to four players. The host controls the starting of games. This behaviour is similar to XBox Live...
