It is also important to remember that mobile broadband can be a huge help to many people, but it is not yet ideal for the same number of applications and activities that can be carried out on fixed line broadband connections. Price: The price of the mobile broadband plan is an important consideration for most people, especially for those on a budget, and the cost can vary from one provider and plan to another.

Contract period: Some providers offer mobile broadband plans on fairly lengthy contracts whereas others will offer monthly rolling plans and Pay as You Go plans, so you need to determine which is best for you.

Speeds: As with fixed line broadband the up to speeds with mobile broadband can vary, so this is another consideration. However, do bear in mind that this speed is the maximum speed and not necessarily the speed that you will get.

Download limits: To ensure that you do not exceed your download limits you should make sure that you find out what the monthly cap is from the package before you make your decision. Even with unlimited data remember that there are fair usage limits in place.
