Nokia N92 - First impressions

The world's first integrated DVB-H mobile device makes prime time any time

The Nokia N92 is the first integrated DVB-H mobile device from Nokia optimized for watching TV programs. Users can watch TV programs on the large 2.8 inch anti-glare QVGA screen with 16 million colors, as well as create personal channel lists and subscribe to TV channel packages.

One of four modes of operation, the view mode is optimized for watching TV and videos with up to 4 hours of viewing, recording and 30 seconds replay. Operation is simple, users simply need to open the Nokia N92 in view mode and press the multimedia key. Information about available TV channels, programs and services is provided through the Electronic Service Guide. Users can also interact with the TV through services such as voting, program feedback and additional web discovery.

The N92 supports the Nokia Web Browser with Mini Map which provides a semi-transparent zoomed-out view of a web page that enables users to quickly orient themselves on a small screen. With an overall view of the web page, users can intuitively navigate to all corners of it as well as see the web page as it was originally designed.

Also one of Nokia's XpressMusic devices, the Nokia N92 boasts memory card support up to 2GB for storage of a potential 1500 songs which can be listened to through the built-in stereo speakers or a stereo headset. An FM radio with Visual Radio support and a 2 megapixel camera offering print-quality photos and email attachment support are also included.

Users can connect the N92 directly to a compatible PC for file transfers or downloads through a range of connectivity options such a Wi-Fi, infrared, Bluetooth wireless technology and USB 2.0 (Mass Storage Class).
