You can use Best Jotter as a quick and easy storage location for any piece of information. You can create text notes and organise them into folders. You can search for the note to quickly find the information you need. You can keep your sensitive information as notes as well. Just set up a password in the application and the Jotter will encrypt all your data and will ask for the password when you or someone else try to access it. You can export and back up your notes. Just export your notes to a text file that you can transfer to PC. Even more, format of this file is very simple and you can edit file on PC in any text editor or Excel. You can also transfer the file back to the device and import it to the application.

To keep your data secure the program uses BlowFish encryption and MD5 message digest algorithms. Your password is not stored anywhere inside the application or on the device in order to increase safety. Password verification is performed by checking digital signs. It means that no person (including the application developers) can open and see your data without specifying correct password. Please don't forget your password as there's no way to access your data without it.

Nice app! Specially with crypting part. Does anyone know where that crypt file goes? I want to transfer it to my new phone. Since there is big chunk of passwords typing it all again to memory is not an option. [Rate: 9/10]

One, but pretty big gripe for me is that the t9 input doesn't work as it should. Eg. we can flip through various spellings of a given combination of presses, but it's impossible to add a new word to the dictionary. And we can only flip forward, so when you've just passed the word you've been looking for you have to press the damn button a couple more times to get back there. Frustrating. Plus the folder nesting woild be a really nice touch. Other than that - very good software.

More than 1 layer of folders would make this very useful for organising data without ending up with a long list of folders

Works like a charm, only one small bug with enabling/disabling security. A feature request from my side is the possibility to create a map into a map
