This small utility can show you very useful information about your disks (their size and free space) as well as the memory information in a handy form. Moreover, it performs very useful function - transforming (substitution) the specified folder into "disk". It simplifies your relocations through a folder structure soundly. For example I get used to create branchy tree in Documents folder. It takes ages to find the necessary file - but this problem has got very simple solution with iDisk by pseudo-disk creation. Let's call it P:. It is displayed instead of a long path e.g. Communicator\Documents\Work\Projects. It is very easy to go to the right folder after the pseudo-disk creation - just choose the "disk" P: in the File Manager (or in the Open File dialog) and you are there.
The program has got the intuitively understood interface based on Nokia 9210 standard operations. "Disks" created by iDisk are still available after the user closes the program. These "disks" are almost identical to the real ones; the one thing the Communicator doesn't allow you is to format such a "disk". You can copy files from/to a disk, edit, create, rename etc. All the changes take place in the appropriate folder of the real disk but can be seen both in the real and pseudo disks. Connecting Nokia 9210 to PC in PC Suite for Nokia 9210 Communicator "false" disks can be seen as the real ones.
