OPL (Organiser Programming Language) is an interpreted language targeted at Symbian OS phones enabling rapid development of applications. OPL consists of phone-side code (runtime and translator) and PC-side code (translator and tools). Even though a new version for Nokia 9300/9500 was released only a week ago, today we're happy to announce the release of version 1.56 of the OPL runtime. Version 1.56 of OPL for all Nokia Communicators is a full, stable and very mature release for all Nokia Communicators. Since in this version all known bugs (except one) in the OPL runtime are fixed, this release is recommended for all Nokia Communicator users. You can download the latest OPL runtime and developer packages from the OPL Project home page.
